The game hides a common phrase, like a saying people use all the time. You solve it one word at a time. Type a guess for the word on screen and press Enter. Each letter turns a color to show how close you are. Four tries per word, and each solved word opens the next one.
The colors work like this. Green is a right letter in the right spot. Yellow is a letter that lives in that word but sits in the wrong spot. Gray is out. And then there is purple, my favorite twist. A purple letter is not in the current word, but it hides somewhere else in the phrase. That small clue is gold when you reach the later words.
